This poem-sequence, written by Moroccan poet and translator Omar Berrada was written in 2025 from notes he took during a solo performance by Meryem Jazouli, titled Folkah! presented by Danspace Project on March 9th, 2020 (part of Platform 2020: Utterances From The Chorus, co-curated by Okwui Okpokwasili and Judy Hussie-Taylor)
