#tbt to November 2011 and Gerard & Kelly’s Reusable Parts/Endless Love at Danspace Project.  As the artists described the piece,

“[This work] began when Gerard & Kelly encountered an exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum of Kiss, an artwork by Tino Seghal in which a man and a woman perform a slow, languorous embrace. Struck by the seeming ephemerality of the piece and its consistent boy/girl casting, the artists returned a number of times to learn its choreography.  Under the watchful eyes of museum guards, they spoke into hidden voice-recorders the Kiss couple’s movements as they saw them.”
