45 years ago, in December 1974, Danspace Project presented its first performance: Natural History of the American Dancer by Carmen Beuchat, Suzanne Harris, Cynthia Hedstrom, Rachel Lew, Barbara Lloyd (Dilley), and Judy Padow. 10 years ago, Danspace Project presented its first Platform: i get lost, guest-curated by Ralph Lemon, and in February we’ll embark upon our 13th! Today, we are pleased to celebrate the evolution of Danspace Project since 1974, lifting up the artist voices that have led us to the present while always looking ahead to the future.
